Introduction to the Faculty of Midwifery

The Faculty of Midwifery is one of the most vital and life-saving faculties of the International Online Institute for Afghan Girls. It is established to train skilled, ethical, and responsible midwives in the field of maternal and newborn health. The program provides professional, academic, and practical education in a safe, free, and online environment for Afghan girls.

Students in this program are trained in pregnancy care, childbirth, postpartum support, newborn health, and reproductive health. Upon graduation, they will be ready to serve in hospitals, clinics, health projects, and rural areas—playing a key role in saving lives and improving community health.

Admission Requirements

The Faculty of Midwifery offers a free, scientific, and professional education opportunity to all Afghan girls. The admission requirements are kept simple and flexible to eliminate barriers to learning and growth.

Basic requirements include:

  1. Completion of 12th grade or equivalent qualification

  2. Interest and commitment to studying midwifery

  3. Access to the internet and a learning device (mobile, tablet, or computer)

  4. Submission of Tazkira/Passport copy and an official photo

  5. Completion of the online registration form

In some cases, an initial online assessment may be conducted.

The program spans two years (six semesters) and includes theoretical education, virtual practical sessions, and specialized midwifery projects.
